Who we are
Find Your Dentist Guyana is run by Odont Professional Services, a Guyanese dental services business. Odont works in dental consultancy, continuing education and dental laboratory coordination. We built this directory so that people can identify registered dentists and find the clinics where they practise. Contact: odontgy@gmail.com.
Using the directory
You can search the map and read every profile without signing up or sharing any personal details. There is no advertising on the site, and we don't keep a record of what you search.
Your location
If you tap the location button, your browser asks your permission first. Your position is used to sort clinics by distance, place a dot on the map and, for drive times, is sent to our mapping service to calculate routes. We do not store it and it is not sent to us. You can refuse and search by town instead.
Where profile information comes from
Dentist registration details come from the Dental Council of Guyana's published register and notices in the Official Gazette. Clinic details come from public sources, such as the clinic's own website or listing, or from the clinic.
Services we rely on
Like most websites, the site relies on a hosting provider and a mapping service. They receive standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the area of the map you view, and use cookies needed to run the site. Their own privacy policies apply to that information.
Where information is processed
Our website and mapping providers may store or process information on servers outside Guyana.
Information about dentists and clinics
Profiles show professional information only: names, Dental Council registration numbers with the source year, practice roles and clinic contact details that are public or that the clinic agreed to publish. We do not publish home addresses, personal phone numbers or patient information.
If you use our forms
The Get listed and Report a correction forms ask for your name, contact details and the clinic or listing details you choose to give. We use them only to check, publish or correct listings and to contact you about your request. Submissions are stored by our website provider and emailed to us. We keep them while the related listing is active and for up to two years after, so we can show how a listing was checked. The forms are meant for dentists and clinic staff.
If you email us
We use your message only to reply and, where relevant, to correct a listing. We do not sell or share it. Please do not send health or patient information by email.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, at odontgy@gmail.com. Dentists and clinics can ask us to remove details that are not part of the public registration record, such as a photo or a personal phone number. We keep basic registration facts that are already public, so the public can identify registered dentists. We reply within one month.
Changes
We will update this page if how the site works changes, and change the date above.
